The Halcyon Waters Men’s Classic Pairs was played over the 1st and 2nd August 2010. Great weather greeted the players each day although Monday was slightly cooler and the wind from the south west didn’t help make the morning game any easier. The combination of Masters & Burns was too good for the other teams and they came out with 6 straight wins.
All in all it was a great two days and thanks to our Green Keeper – Jeff Morrison and his crew, the greens were in perfect condition and nearly all players commented on how well the greens run. I almost forgot our Greens Director Noel Gray was there to supervise the team !
